I'd like to hear your ideas about young adult ministry! What are you looking for in a church? What is meaningful to you as a young adult believer? What kinds of activities interest you when it comes to church? You can join the discussion at http://groups.google.com/group/tlcyoungadults.

Let's see. What do I want as a Single Young Adult? I think it's fair to say that's changed a little along the way.

18-24: I wanted to have fun and hang out with cool people.

24-27: I wanted to be accepted and to put behind all the judgement for who and what I am or what I've done, what I know (or don't know) about God, and some accountability to help me accomplish the goals I'd set for myself. I really wanted a close group of friends I could count on. You know-to help me move.

27-present: I'm struggling with the reality that no where in scripture does it say the faithful will receive a house in the 'burbs with a white picket fence, a loving wife, 2.5 kids, a dog, a cat and if I'm lucky a fish. Right now all I have is the fish and I can't help feeling something's missing.
